A Letter From The
President
It’s spring! We'll sort of, anyway. I’m sure that like me, you’re waiting for the more physical manifestations to appear so that you can break out the golf clubs, the tennis racquets and the seed packets. At Sentry Alarms, where golf is just about everyone’s passion, we’re planning our company tournament and practicing our swings. We’re also undergoing a major software revision, an investment we’ve made to enable us to better serve your needs. Soon we’ll be offering activity reports and invoicing by email and, by the end of the year, an option for internet monitoring. Our general manager, Jeff Treubig, is supervising the conversion with a lot of good help form our central station manager Dan Lutynski, and his monitoring staff. The accounting transition will be managed by Johanna Russell and Cindy Conklin. They are all part of what makes Sentry Alarms such a great company and I’m very grateful to have them with me. Thanks for your continued confidence in all of us! Sincerely, Jean Levenson Don't cancel your home phone line! With telephone number portability, some clients have considered canceling their hard line telephones and taking their numbers to their cellular phones. This will render your alarm system unable to communicate with the central monitoring office! Alarm panel technology, especially for systems that have been installed for a number of years, is not equipped to dial over the cell phone network. You will need to have a different communicator installed to ensure communication, similar to what many of our clients have installed now as added protection against telephone line tampering and outages. Always talk with us before you take any action that effects your telephone service. We offer wireless solutions to our clients. Commercial System News

This month, you can win tickets to the Tri-Cities Opera’s production of Pagliacci and Suror Angelica. Just visit the WMXW website at www.mix103fm.com to enter. Greater Art for Greater Binghamton. Spring is in the air! At Sentry Alarms, we’re looking forward to another action filled season with the Binghamton Mets. We have an exciting, new on field promotion that will be fun for the fans and benefit the Broome County Firefighters Association. At every home game beginning April 8th. Binghamton Mets fans will have a chance to throw the “Sentry Dice” for fun and prizes. Everybody wins a prize, but if the familiar and beloved Sentry logo comes up, the players win an even better prize. If BOTH Sentry logos come up, the lucky player also wins Mets tickets and Sentry donates $25.00 to the firefighter’s association. Look for Bill Terlecky and the HUGE Sentry Dice sometime between the 2nd and the 7th innings at NYSEG Stadium. Come join the fun!
